Valentine’s Day Cocktails
Give the gift of Rum this Valentine’s Day.
Sadly, we’re not able to head out to a restaurant for a romantic meal this year, so why not stay in and celebrate Valentine’s with that special someone and some ‘rumantic’ cocktails (see what we did there)?. Who needs a bouquet of flowers? These cocktails are sure to make an impression and do just the trick!
The Spicy Love Potion
Fizzy, fun and bright rosy-red! This delightful cocktail will give you that warm fuzzy feeling and really spice things up!
50ml Two Drifters White rum • 50ml Grenadine • 150ml ginger beer • Splash of lemon juice • Garnish with lemon rind
Love Martini
With this seductive cocktail it will be ‘love at first sip’…
25ml Aluna Coconut rum • 25ml Peach Schnapps (Archers) • 75ml Cranberry Juice • Garnish with 2 sliced strawberries (why not cut the strawberry slices into hearts by cutting a V at the stem end?) • Sugar to rim glass (optional)
The Red Pom Cocktail
A bittersweet cocktail that is sure to get you in the mood and make you blush.
50ml Westerhall No 2 White rum • 150ml Ruby red grapefruit juice • 15ml Agave nectar (use honey as an alternative) • 1 tablespoon Pomegranate seeds • Crushed ice • Garnish with a sage leaf
Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri
A classic cocktail which is always well received; a vibrant slushy cocktail for getting mushy.
Blend 500mg strawberries to make a purée, then add 200g ice, 100ml White rum and juice of half a lime and blend again. Serve in chilled Martini glasses and garnish with halved strawberries. Add a touch of sugar if it’s too bitter.
The Betsie Temple
A great cocktail if you’re trying to impress… especially if your lady friend is called Betsie!
50ml of Aluna Coconut Rum • 50ml Pineapple juice • A splash of grenadine Ice • Garnish with spiked cherries
The Valentine Sparkler
A light, sweet and sparkling cocktail.
50ml Two Drifters White Rum • 50ml Vanilla syrup • 25ml Cranberry juice • 75ml Sparkling wine • Serve in a champagne flute.

50ml Cane Trader white rum • 50ml Irish Cream (Baileys Strawberries and cream ideally) • 25ml simple syrup • Garnish with fresh strawberries
