‘Hygge’ pronounced ‘hue-guh’ is a Danish word to acknowledge a feeling or moment. A mood of coziness, a feeling of contentment, true happiness and personal wholeness. The origin of the hygge is unknown but is thought to originate from the Danish word to mean ‘to give comfort and joy’, ‘hugga’ meaning ‘comfort’ and ‘hugr’ meaning ‘mood’.
Established in November 2020, Hygge Rums mission was to create a drink worthy enough to share the journey of life, to be enjoyed during the most special moments – ‘Hygge moments’.

Hygge Spiced Rum is made from 100% Caribbean Rum spiced with a unique blend of natural botanicals. Notes of buttery caramel and citrus, sweet brown sugar and further subtle clove, nutmeg and ginger warmth. Comforting light chocolate notes, subtle peach and stewed banana with silky buttery caramel. This is an undeniably moreish and indulgent spiced rum, velvety smooth, perfect for those #hyggerummoments.

Best enjoyed with friends and family. Smooth enough to be enjoyed neat or over ice. Otherwise pair with your favourite mixer such as a premium cola, ginger ale or ginger beer. Alternatively, add a generous splash of Hygge Spiced Rum to your hot chocolate, a hug in a mug.
Feeling adventurous, try ‘Hygge Hot buttered Rum’; smooth, spicy, rich, comforting and indulgent. Blend 25g of butter, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 tsp of nutmeg, 2 tsp of sugar and 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream. Finally stir in 60ml of Hygge Spiced Rum and 200ml of Hot Water, #hyggerummoment achieved.
