I have fond memories of my first rum. Having grown up on the coast, my friends and I used to spend many warm summer evenings on the beach enjoying music, BBQs and drinks. One evening my brother said, “try this, you’ll love it”. A few spiced rums later and I was hooked, and many hazy summers went by. Time flies when you’re having rum… 

If you’re reading this then you’ll most likely love rum too, or if you’re new to rum then you’re in the right place! There are so many fantastic craft, small-batch, indie, premium and artisan rums all made here in the UK - each with their own story to tell, made with heart and passion. 

Disheartened by the poor selection of rum in pubs and supermarkets, we took it upon ourselves to create a dedicated online shop for all things rum, that showcases, supports and sells the best rums from all over the UK and beyond.  Rum is on the rise! Consumers are becoming more adventurous, looking beyond the limited range at the supermarket or their local pub, and seeking brands that define them as individuals.

So here we are, launching our site! And what better date to launch The Rum Company than on World Rum Day 2020? Our website is current, easy to use and completely dedicated to rum. Our useful taste notes system helps you to see which flavours are in each rum, allowing you to find the rum that hits the spot. Each distillery has worked with us to suggest the best mixer to pair with its rum, to enhance the flavours within the rum for optimal satisfaction. Our handy cocktail suggestions mean you can experiment at home or when hosting parties. We have also organised each rum by location… looking for a gift? - support local!
