Zanzibar Spiced Rum

Unique and truly exotic spirits from the tropical paradise – a true representation of the islands spice heritage.

The Zanzibar liquor company is a celebration of the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the ‘Spice Island’.

“A rich heritage and history”

Zanzibar was a pivotal component of the spice trade routes from East Africa to the Middle East and India, and in the 18th and 19th century Zanzibar was coined “the spice island” for its rich exports of a variety of spices.

“Attention to detail”

Meticulous detail adorns each bottle. The bottle’s rear label features a picturesque sunset photo where two of Zanzibar's iconic Dhows cross in front of the setting golden sun gliding across the horizon, taken on the Michamvi Peninsular (East coast of Zanzibar). As light dances upon the bottle, witness the hues of the Zanzibar sunset reflected over the Indian Ocean, with two Dhows elegantly "sailing" around the vessel.“A combination of passion for spirits with a love for St Ives forgotten history”

Island-inspired flavours

The finest Caribbean rum is gently infused with organic botanicals and spices sourced directly from the island.

Specially selected, premium Caribbean rum, five-year oak barrel aged in Antigua, is infused with organic spices from Zanzibar including smooth vanilla, aromatic cardamom, clove, star anise, orange peel, warm cinnamon, nutmeg and a bite of black pepper.

Indulge in the symphony of island-inspired flavours meticulously curated within each bottle. Smooth and effortlessly enjoyable, Zanzibar Spiced Rum offers a delightful complexity with a gentle sweetness, underscored by the warmth of aged rum and a bouquet of spices.
