Bristol will always hold a special place in my heart; it is where I went to University, where I met many good friends and most importantly where I met my fiancé. 

The Rum Company exists to bring you small batch, craft, artisan British born or British-infused rum. We endeavour to work with innovative and passionate distillers – and these guys have it by the truck load!

From the unconventional team that brought you the Gin Enema Kit, Novichok Overproof Vodka, ‘Five in the Pink’ Gin, Pizza Gin, Bergamont Hotpants Gin, the Vape cocktail and not forgetting the limited edition BDSM Gin for Valentines… you can tell this is a team that pushes the boundaries. Teetering on the edge of genius and crazy - super creativity and inspiration ooze from this micro-distillery in the heart of Bristol, under the streets of St Nicholas Market in the cellars of The Rummer Hotel. The Bristol Spirit Collective are true ‘explorers of flavours’ that are uniquely different, fun and full of character. 

The Port of Bristol Honey Rum features unaged Guyanese rum infused with warm honey and a touch of vanilla; smooth, gooey & warm - yet punchy. Notes of runny caramel, sweet brown sugar and tropical fruits add depth. Made from the forgotten recipe of The Rear Admiral Digby Mountcock, this small batch artisan rum is the perfect balance of naughty and nice, with a big dollop of oooh…

This Honey Rum is a great sipper neat or chilled with ice. But why stop there? Why not try it in some cocktails? Try a Honey Dark and Stormy with POB Honey Rum, fiery ginger beer and a few dashes of Angostura Bitters. Or perhaps a Honey Daiquiri with POB Honey Rum, lime and demerara. 

Fancy something warm? Try a ‘Fireside Friend’ spiced, hot buttered honey rum. Warm 50ml POB Honey Rum, 100ml full cream milk, 1 tsp butter, a squinch of cinnamon and add runny honey to taste. Sit by an open fire to complete the experience.
