Long island iced tea

Long island iced tea is a hot mess of a cocktail thought to have originated in Long island new york. It packs a punch, featuring 5 key spirits… it’s not for the faint hearted.

INGREDIENTS

50ml white rum
50ml vodka (try vanilla vodka)
50ml gin
50ml triple sec (eg. Cointreau)
50ml tequila
50-100ml fresh lime juice
500ml coke
2 wedges of lemon/lime

Method

1. Add the rum, vodka, gin, triple sec and tequila to a pitcher half full with ice. Squeeze in the lime juice and add the coke.

2. Pour the iced tea into glasses filled with ice, garnish with wedges of lemon or lime.
