The rich, dark colour of this Rum is a reflection of the many years it has spent maturing in wood. Originally placed into American Oak, ex-Bourbon casks this Rum remained in the Dominican Republic tropically ageing in the warm humidity of the Caribbean for eight years before being shipped to the cooler climate of the UK where it was re-casked into an ex-Rum cask for further maturation before being bottled by House of Rum in 2023.

Nose – Wonderful and delicate crème brulee aromas, with soft, creamy vanilla and dry fig undertones and a luscious buttery note.

Palate – Delightful and rich palate, with flavours reminiscent of soaked sweet raisins. This is followed by subtle notes of cocoa nibs and cloves, leading to a satisfying and abundant buttery-toasted finish
